Curriculum Vitae
Much Ado About Nothing, but Over Decades
DEGREE: BFA, Summa cum laude, with dual majors in 2D and 3D Art, minor in Creative Writing from University of Wisconsin at Whitewater attained at the age of 50 years young.
ARTIST’S OVERVIEW: Although my work and studies have been pursued with the goal of obtaining skills in as many genres as possible, my focus encompasses two venues: 1) to distort the size and perception of the viewers’ realities allowing momentary escape and 2) changing the future of women by structuring girls’ ideas regarding possibilities of self-actualization and the ability to challenge the status quo through creativity.

"The smell and touch of the paint, the losing oneself into another dimension where sight is supercharged and notices every detail – the heady adrenalin rush of a line gone right, a color flashing more brilliantly next to another combination not tried before. The world far away and time stopped. Standing in a crowd by oneself in shame and self-loathing as lesser works by friends of the gallery sold and won prizes, staring at one's failures on the home walls, knowing they were good and there was nothing she could do about it."
